📢 Important Update: Changes to Local Blood Test Appointments 📢

From Monday 3rd March 2025, the Phlebotomy Departments at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust are introducing a new online appointment system, SwiftQueue, for booking blood tests. This aims to reduce waiting times and improve patient experience by replacing the current walk-in system.

Key Dates:
✅ 3rd March 2025 – Online booking system launches
✅ 10th March 2025 – First bookable appointments at East Surrey Hospital
✅ 1st April 2025 – First bookable appointments at Crawley & Horsham Hospitals

📞 If you don’t have internet access, call 03006 134117 (Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm) to book by phone.

Walk-in Service Ending Soon
Walk-in appointments will continue until 31st March 2025 but will stop after this date. A small number of urgent same-day slots will remain available for those with immediate needs.

⚠️ Important Information:
Patients more than 15 minutes late may need to wait for the next available slot or rebook for another day.
If you have additional requirements (e.g. needle phobia), you can add this to your booking so adjustments can be made.
Family members can assist in booking online appointments if needed.

Modality Mid Sussex is not providing this service but wants patients to be aware of the new system. GP-requested blood tests are still available at Modality Mid Sussex practice locations as usual.
